Last week, Google announced they will soon start to roll out a new AdWords billing system for agencies and major advertisers that combines several MCC accounts into one.

The consolidated billing system will be able to combine invoices for several accounts and produce one invoice that covers all the accounts. This system will replace MDOs, which had to be requested from a Google representative among other requirements.

This new billing system is designed to be more flexible and to allow large advertisers and agencies various options. For instance, they’ll be able to set up accounting requirements by client, brand, division or product. Advertisers will also be able to create budget orders in any account without the need to contact a Google representative.

The best thing is that advertisers won’t have to do anything, as the accounts will automatically transition to the new billing system between now and the end of the year. A notification will be sent to the account managers once the billing system will become available to them.
