A lot of advertisers were looking for some enhancements and improvements in Bing Ads targeting capabilities. Recently, Bing has made several improvements in this area that are worth checking out.
- An improved radius targeting that allows targeting at a more granular level. Advertisers can now specify radius in kilometers as well as miles. Plus, if until now advertisers could only choose predefined radius increments such as 5, 10, 20 etc, now the new radius targeting limits are 1 to 500 miles or 1 to 800 km.
- An improved map control allowing advertisers to see the outlines of the locations that they’ve targeted as well as excluded. They will also be able to add or remove targets from the map control.
- A new combination of location and radius targeting. Advertisers can now add both location as well as radius targets in the same campaign or ad group.
These enhancements are available in the latest version of Bing Ads Editor and also in V9 API.
